Q: Hometown?

A: Levittown, Pa

Q: What do you do at ObjectRocket?

A: Customer Data Engineer/Migration Manager

Q: What have you gained from working at ObjectRocket?

A: A wealth of knowledge and experience with bleeding edge technologies, and opportunities to go geek out with other engineers about them.

Q: What do you like to do on your days off?

A: Hang out with my family, attend one of the many food/beer/music festivals in Austin, build Lego with my daughter, hack on Raspberry Pis.

Q: What are your hopes for our industry?

A: To break down silos, and continue to build culture through knowledge (and code) sharing. That we all continue to make great software that helps improve everyones lives.

Q: If you were to write a self-help book, what would the topic be?

A: Title: "Stop putting words in my mouth" Topic: Listening to your team members and strengthening collaboration with facts not assumptions.

Q: If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be?

A: Gene Kim Author of The Phoenix Project and The Visible Ops Handbook

Q: If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and why?

A: Nikola Tesla. He's one of the greatest engineers/inventors/geeks in history. He was a great visionary.

Q: If you could only drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: Ballast Point Sculpin IPA

Q: If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?

A: Alan Turing and Gordon Welchman (and team at Bletchley Park) develop the bombe machine that cracked the coded messages from the uncrackable Enigma machine during WWII.

Q: If you could be stuck in an elevator with any 3 people, dead or alive, who would they be?

A: Gene Kim, Adrian Cockcroft, and John Willis, preferably at DevOpsDays.

A: Currently Redis

Q: What is your proudest moment at ObjectRocket?

A: Winning Bestivus, and getting to drive the Rackermobile (Tesla Model S) in the same month.
